Desi D is a writer of dark speculative Fiction. She writes mostly fantasy, sci-fi, and trauma, with a splash of a thriller feel. She has an M.F.A. in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University and an overactive imagination and stories to tell. For her writing was inevitable. It was the only way to satisfy the voices inside her head. Every character wants their story told.

 

Her characters face terrible hardships and have to overcome nearly-impossible situations. Her stories should come with an R rating and reader discretion is advised. Her stories portray violence, abuse, torture, assault, sexual assault, trauma, and dark humor both on and off the page. No-one is safe in her stories.

 

When Desi D is not writing, she is dreaming of faraway places and the people who live there. She lives in the beautiful state of Colorado where she was born and raised with her cats.
